does this sound like Anxiety

let me start by saying that I am seeing my doctor next thursday and will discussing these issues  with him.  I have been having a hard time sleeping, I have crazy dreams about being lost, having a disease, missing my train to work and I often wake up several times a night sweating.  The sweats are pretty much centered around my neck, they are not drenching sweats but its enought to wake me up.  When it does happen i get get a glass of water and its gone. lately i have been obsessed with every little thing that goe son with my body.  2 weeks ago i had an issue with my tongue feeling  like it was burned so i went to my dentist he couldnt find anything wrong and it should feel better in a couple of days.  Last week i noticed bumps on my tongue and it was white, i went to a doctor and she said nothing was wrong everything was normal.  I still freaked out.  I am beginning to think that anxiety is beginning to control my life, i havent had a good night sleep in weeks, i obsess about everything like why am i losing weight does this sound like anxiety?  what can i do to help myself until i get to see a doctor?  any help would be really appreciated.

Only a doctor can diagnose your ailments, not us, and anxiety has so many different flavors, it can cause just about any symptom.  A white tongue can indicate a yeast infection, but it can also signify nothing.  I guess the rule is, rule out all possible physiological causes if you can, and doctors aren't very good at this, they're too rushed, and start seeing a therapist to see if there's some problem going on you can fix.
