don't understand whats wrong....

In march i took a cough medication that because of a side effect i experienced threw me into my first ever panic attack. since that night i have had this unbelievable anxiety that i can't shake. mostly health anxiety and worry that something is going to happen to me. my GP put me on synthroid for a slightly elevated tsh (5.120) but i had a normal t4; i was skeptical at first but decided to take it. 3 weeks into it i was still having side effects from the synthroid (rapid heartbeat, palpitations, extreme fatigue,no libido,no emotion, dizziness, chest pain) basically probably overmedicated. and my symptoms only increased with my period.

Decided to see my obgyn, who thought i really needed an anxiety type medication and told me to just stop the synthroid since my tsh wasn't that high. ran all my hormone levels and gave me buspar. all my hormones came back normal except i had a slightly elevated estrogen level. maybe that causes my anxiety to worsen during my period? i haven't had a chance to call the doctor back on that but i assume the only treatment will be diet and excercise. I've said all that to say this. for the last couple of weeks, off and on, and ONLY at night, if im very hungry, when i eat dinner, i get so weak afterwards, also feel some nausea, and lightheaded, some dizziness and a little shaky. sometimes i think it has to do with the types of food i eat (not overweight) but the feelings last for a few hours afterwards. i feel like if it was the food why does it last so long? i've checked my blood sugar at fasting and it was normal (86) but haven't checked it after i eat. last night i noticed it got worse when i ate two little apple pies and it happened. But the other night i had a piece of cheesecake and i was fine. its so frustrating to me...any ideas???

hello well Im happy that you are going to the doctor and are getting checked. I can also relate to what you are saying about ffod, sometimes when I eat pizza for example my heart beats reallllly fast. Or sometimes if I drink regular soda my heart beats realllly fast also. From what Ive read depending on our blood type we are allergic to certain foods. I also have health related anxiety and am taking medication and I feel sleepy and kinda out of it but Im hoping this will go away. I know I didnt answer all your questions but I can relate with what you are saying about the food. Good luck hope you feel better soon.
