doubting the way I bring up children

by Superfostermom, Mar 05, 2008 01:06PM
The idiot social worker told me that the way I am raising my foster daughter may be interfering with her wanting to go back to her real parents and that in meeting my needs to have children in my life I may not be meeting the needs of my foster child. Hellooooooooooooooo, just how is that wrong ?

Am I sapost to love a child half way instead of with all my heart?

I don't know the rules for forstering, however, I commend you for loving with all your heart!  Also, I am not sure that the anxiety forum would be the best place for your post.  There are other forums on here that would serve you better, like, for example, the parenting or adoption ones.

I'm on your side.

And suzi has it right -try a forum where they really understand this stuff. Good luck!
