Wow me too.. I am easily get distracted by minimimum sounds like a ringing phone..when someone opens the gate, like small buzz..I dont know what to do ,... I started to feel this when i am alone... Its like u are afraid of a sudden noice when there is silence..I think prayers is the best key to this, because it is our mind that keeps distracting us..I always think that i font have to fear for because its only noise..I hope it will get better soon.. We'll just pray for each others ..God bless everyone:)
I have this to it is so bad that I think everytime I move Im going to reinjure myself. I am worried today because a woman bumped into me hard at a restaurant at lunch and im worried that hurt more and i was already not feeling well. The pain is getting better at times but I have the monthly thing and the weather has been bad and I have arthritis. I was in an accident in the car not my fault in 93 where mom was driving and we skidded on black ice and hit a tree. I had 17 hours of reconstructive surgery that night, and when they were doing surgery on her pelvis she threw an embelism and died and they brought her back to life. She is alive and fine today.,
Then since then I have been in four car accidents when i lived in boston that werent my fault. So a few weeks ago I strained my back about a month ago and the pain has been hellatious! It still is at times and Im wondering if that lady bumping into me might have aggrivated it further. If I move the wrong way I worry if I feel something funny i worry. Any suggestions?
Yes - I have this. At night, if my husband moves and the covers or pillow brushes my back, I'll feel my spine coil back. I have it during the day as well - if someone pats me on the back or bumps into me, I'll feel my body sort of jerk. I also notice it at times with sounds - if a fork falls on the floor or something as simple as hearing the phone ring if the room is quiet.
Yes I have gotten that bad a few times. Your mind is stuck on "red alert" and will remain that way until you are able to calm yourself. Meditation, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and exercise will help reduce your adrenaline levels, allowing you to begin to calm down. Each of us are different and are worried about so many different things, its up to you to figure out what you are stressing over and begin to react differently to it. I know this advice is almost "text book" and vague, but you must pull yourself out of this "red alert" mode your mind is stuck in before you can begin to control your anxiety levels. I hope this helps you and that you feel better soon.
