Is  a  eletric shock  therapy  useful  for  anxiety?

There is a new and safer way for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and it is called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)

There are many methods that are tried if it is even considered.  Have you gone through counseling?  Have you been having problems with anxiety for a long time?  There are so many approaches that you could take in dealing with it in my opinion.

ECT is usually used for patients with SEVERE major depression when the patient has not responded to the other treatments available.  Anxiety can be a major symptom of depression and was for me.  I had ECT treatments 25+ years ago and they did not help me.
A good psychiatrist can advise you what a good treatment plan is for you.
