It can be freezing outside or inside and for no reason just start sweating horriable. So what medicines are there to help me from sweating its missiralbe, I can't get dressed after a shower because I'm soaking wet from sweat, its like I never took a shower. I can't put on make-up because I'm sweating and if by chance I can stop sweating long enough to put my make up on it just sweats right off in an instant. Please Help Me!

Drug-induced Hyperhidrosis from the Cymbalta.

There are several medicines used to treat Hyperhidrosis, but unfortunately they cannot be combined with Cymbalta. Ditropan and Pro-Banthine are the common two.

You should inform your doctor of the problem. Perhaps a dosage adjustment will resolve the issue.

And be careful, this happened to me while I was on Wellbutrin, my electrolytes went dangerously low. I was sweating everything out. And the wellbutrin was also an appetite suppressant so that certainly didn't help matters either.....

I'm not saying this will happen to you or that the low sodium/potassium was the wellbutrin alone, although I certainly haven't had any of those things happen since stopping......but it was a factor.

I know exactly what you mean. I have the same problem. I am on alot of meds for lupus, so I think one or more of them is causing it, or maybe it is my lupus doing it, but my doctors just don't seem to think it is important to do anything... I am miserable. I change my clothes two and three times a day. I shower two times a day... I hate it. My husband, bless his heart, put central air conditioning in our home, and I have it set at 68 degrees and I STILL sweat from my head.  (YOu are the first person I read about that sweats from the head, too.)  So, I don't know how to help you, except to say you should talk to your dr. But, I wanted to tell you that you aren't alone... I will pray for you, ok?  Because I know how horrible it is.  I hope you find help.  I hope I find help, too!  Good luck.
