face tingles please answer having a serious panic attack.

face tingles please answer having a serious panic attack.

does anyone here ever get a tingling sensation in their face cheeks mainly. kinda like chill bumps or a small shock but not painful.please help got one answer before to go to the answer page but no help.God bless you all!

when I am beginning a panic attack, I get a tingling in my cheeks and in my mouth...It is weird...it is also like a cool feeling.  It is like my preview before it actually hits, so I know to get ready.....

Hey there, I have that problem sometimes.....my face almost feels numb, on my chin and lips mostly.  A few years ago I actually went to the doctor about it.  Nothing.  So I kept a journal of when it would occur and I noticed it happened when I would have on scarves or turtle necks etc and it would rub under my chin, maybe I was having a reaction to the fabric I'm not sure.  It still happens it just doesn't freak me out anymore since I have noticed a pattern.  It's funny just talking about it, now my chin feels a little numb!!

Maybe you should try that, see when, how long etc. it happens.  Is it when you ware a certain kind of clothing, is it if you lay a certain way which can pinch nerves that go to your face.  Try not to panic, I was told it's not usually a symptom of anything dangerous.  I hope this helps a little.  Erin

Anxiety is a booger, I have been dealing with it for a good while,  my symptoms vary depending on how strong the attack is, Starts with a sense of " I feel funny", then a blood rush , then tingling in face hands neck , then tightness and muscle tension in face neck hands and chest, then numbness in hands, vertigo, then upset stomach, then the feeling that you are going to pass out.  on really bad ones I also get pressure in my head and neck, all is anxiety, have had every test run possible. so, don't feel as if you are the only one.  Anxiety is a real illness and needs to be treated, see your doc and explain your symptoms .  Also try to find an outlet, I get built up anger and stress when I keep having panic attacks, because I try not to have them but they are stronger than I, So scream or cry and hit something like a pillow or heavy bag, this helps alot. hope helps
