More than likely your symptoms are caused by the anxiety. I had so many symptoms that i can't even name them all. I felt as if i was very ill and was to the point where i was going to check myself into a hospital until they figured out a diagnosis. At that point, a neurologist diagnosed me and gave me two prescriptions to fill after being a guinea pig to other specialists. I was a hot mess until i started to take med's and eventually all of my symptoms started to vanish. I was also educating myself on anxiety disorder and it's symptoms and learning how to control them. I was on med's for 1 1/2 years and never took another pill since. Not to say that i will never have to but i have learned how to control the symptoms enough where they will go away at that moment. I would suggest that you write down all of your symptoms and read as many books on anxiety that will help and guide you through. Hang in there, you will be fine.

hi  i am 22 ys female 95lbs. i read this post and i recently experienced the same problem. it has been going for for about 3 months. out of the blue one day, my heart rate went up in about the 90s  and up to 122. and ive been loosing sleep because of it, no sleeping meds works. i sleep on average about 3-4 hrs a night. i feel like its difficult to walk when my heart rate is high and i easily get stressed out and feel i have no control over my body. please email me ***@**** and let me know what happened in ur situation and what you did to make it go away. im so desperate for help.
i went to the doctors and they cannot find out whats wrong with me! according to them all the blood tests came back normal, stomach xray normal, ekg normal, chest xrays normal.... they say it could be anxiety and stress... did you guys try the anxiety meds? did it wrk? any sideaffects? :(

blsdnsvd, what meds did you take? i can ask my doc about it....

My suggestion to you is to seek help from a "psychologist" for accurate diagnosis. If all of your medical testing is normal...it's more than likely anxiety that you are dealing with. Although "anxiety" is considered a mental illness, all of the signs are physical.
The first step is to be diagnosed and then take it from there. Everyone's situation is different and unique. The reason you are not sleeping is because you are either afraid to or the panic attacks are taking over. Heart palpatations are very normal with anxiety, however, they can be very worrisome and bothersome as well. From experience, i can tell you a couple of things that will help besides medication. The problem with having panic attacks are this: once you think about the symptoms, they will occur and become more frequent (very scary).....You must try to keep focused on something else and "TRY" not to think about the symptoms. and if you feel your heart racing at that moment, close your eyes and relax and then deep breathe until the beats slow down. I was on Xanax (temporarily) intially along with Zoloft (long term)
and they helped my symptoms tremoudously. Once you meet with a doctor, you will find it much easier to deal with. Please keep me informed.

i know how u feel and understand what ur going threw. i know it seems hard when people tell u to try and deal with it cause this is what the doc keeps telling me or just giving me more tablets. i dont want to take anymore tablets. ive been searching on the internet for anthing to help me and one thing i did come across was a thinking tec...well just try this and see how u feel......when you panic or get stressed think bout what is stressing you out or making you panic think of wrapping it up bring it down from your head and into ur heart and then think bout something that makes you happy etc a person or somewhere you like being. this did help me...they say we bring it on ourself when we panic and i read up dont fight it off it just makes things worse.....hope i may have help u a little...let me know how it goes...good luck
