This is Hollie, i had to change (incase you didnt read the other post) but yeah you answered my question about klonpion. i just have panic attacks and thats it. no depression, bipolar or anything. so knowing that now is klonpion okey?? i want a long acting cause short is bad, cuz then like 2,3hours later you have to take another pill. i really like this drug, it works pretty well. i just think im addicited now & i dont want to be. is there anywhere that i can take it when needed & not be addicted??!

Why did you have to change your user name? (I must have missed the reason why).

Assuming your diagnosis is indeed "panic attacks", then yes, the Klonopin would still be a good choice.

So now you need to make a choice: (1) Take the drug as-needed (less effective), or (2) Take the drug everyday, twice daily at a dosage of 1/2 mg BID.

As with anything, there is a trade-off. The trade-off to taking Klonopin everyday is dependency. So you have to ask yourself: Do the benefits outweigh the risks? If they do, talk to your doctor about taking the drug everyday for maintanence of your anxiety. 1/2 mg BID is usuallly sufficient. In extreme cases, the dose can be increased to 1 mg BID.
