forgotten dose of lexapro

Hey I forgot to take my daily lexapro and have had a pounding headache all day. is this connected

You don't need to take anything for your head other than maybe an aspirin or Tylenol.  You're suffering withdrawal possibly, that's what happens when you skip a dose.  You'll be fine.  But it's good in the long run because now you know what your doctors probably didn't tell you, which is that if you choose to stop taking these drugs do it slowly and safely.
