getting off Cymbalta?

Has anyone ever been or is on Cymbalta for Depression or Anxiety?
Have you tried to ween off of it? If so, did you experience major dizzy spells, mood swings, migraines and was it just overall really hard to get off it?

I am having a very hard time getting off. Dizziness diarrhea . and anxiety ,it has been two wks already. When does it stop??

Following abrupt or tapered discontinuation in placebo-controlled clinical trials, the following symptoms occurred at a significantly higher rate in duloxetine-treated patients compared to those discontinuing from placebo: dizziness, nausea, headache, paresthesia, fatigue, vomiting, irritability, insomnia, diarrhea, anxiety, and hyperhidrosis (increased sweating). P.S. When my grandfather wanted to stop his Cymbalta (after being well informed of the Pros/Cons), I just sprinkled a tiny bit of the capsule into the trash and closed the capsule back up. Each week I sprinkled a little more into the trash. You MUST NOT swallow the tiny beads without the protective capsule coating !!! The drug turns into NAPHTHOL in stomach acid !!! BAD !!  He had no side-effects. Just sharing, not advocating, or recommending. Stay Well

I did the same thing with my Effexor XR.  I actually counted out a few more grains every day and tossed them out.  Put the capsule back together and took as usual.  I didn't quit till I was down to ten grains.  No withdrawal at all.  Good luck everyone!
