I came off of celexa cold turkey in 2003, after being on it for 8months, and I still, every now and then, have a brain shock. lame.

I've learnt, no matter how badly you wish to discontinue, you have it in your system, you put it in there, and you have to take it out, gradually.

your post was in November.. so i hope all is well.

Did you slowly wean off?  I quit cold turkey about 5 years ago and I was miserable for about 2-3 weeks,  Hang in there.  They will pass, and it will happen in a matter of a day.  It was strange...I just woke up after weeks of feeling horrible and felt fine.  But it is way better to wean off and listen to the doctor.  Hang in there.
