The brain zaps seem to be a common thing when weaning off Effexor and alot of other antidepressants. In my opinion if you did start another med you would quit having the brain zaps. That's what worked for me. Why is your Dr. taking you off of the Effexor? Are you having side effects? Take care. Remar

The doctor is taking me off at my request because I want to have another baby, it could harm the fetus. Thanks for responding back.I go to the doctors Friday I am going to ask to try something else I will keep you updated.
