getting very very frustrated

i have tried two times now to taper off clonazapam without no luck.ive been taking 0.5 milligrams a day 1/2 every 12 hoursam and pm.i really want to get off this drug but have heard so many horror stories.ive now been on this dose for 9 months now. ive seen a psyciatrist her answer is you dont need them cut down to 1/2 a day i thought that was a big cut and did try that with no success. if there is any one out there that can give me some advise it would be more than welcomed.i am really trying with no success and want off. thank you jenny
