having mood swings, a dream like state, concentration problems, anxiety

After a overseas plane travel its seems that my anxiety attacks started to overwhelm me. this plane ride was in February, the last  few weeks, i started having problem concentrating, remembering words, my heart as im laying down starts rushing, i mostly feel like im in a dream like state, I seem to be fine for two days still having problems concentrating but not as sad and then spend three or more days depressed, sad and in bed dealing with these symptoms. I work at home so when i start going downhill i cant get out of bed or work, I have anger problems as well, I get angry and agitated very easily, i try to pick up fights and get myself all worked up to eventually feeling very empty, tired, hysteric and unable to move. This has really started to affect my life and work and relationships. Can you give me any advice on what to do to?

sounds like you haven't accepted your dream like state. Dream like state just means you are on a different kind of wave length than other people. Maybe if you accepted your dream like state and saw the positive in it, you would be more clear headed. I am in a dream like state a lot of the time, and earlier i was scared and overwhelmed by it. Now I think it's awesome. Its almostl ike lucid dreaming. I laugh at the silly things we do in this world. just be more one with that feeling.

check out "depersonalization and derealization"
i'm in a constant dreamlike state, and it turns out it's derealization. and i'd been looking for an explanation for about 6 years, since i was 14.

Sorry you are feeling so bad.  I'm in the same boat and can hardly (sometimes not at all) leave the house.  Can you find a counselor who specializes in anxiety?  There are many good books on panic attacks.  I'm reading "The Panic Attack Workbook"  By David Carbonell.  It is good and may be able to help you.  I have all the same symptoms you have.  Perhaps we could help each other?

Most people on here are looking for answers just like you so it's tough to find too much advice. I would definitely make an appt. with a psychiatrist and tell him what your going through. You really need to do that in my opinion to get a proper diagnosis so you can get treated and figure out your best course of action. The anger and agitation is no fun and there could be multiple things causing your symptoms.

Anxiety can definitely make u feel agitated. There are also other things that could be causing it. Borderline personality disorder, bi-polar, etc. It's tough to give a diagnosis. Most likely they will put you on an anti-depressant and/or mood stabilizer and also a benzodiazepene such as klonopin or valium to calm you down. However, its really up to you and the doctor to discuss. I wish you well man. It's not a fun feeling. Get yourself into somebody asap and get yourself better. Good luck.
