Just my own opinion. A headache can leadLead poisoning to anxiety if you link one to the other. Be a bit like me thinking every time I have a sore arm I will have anxiety. or a sore leg. You can create the situation by putting one to the other. Headache = Anxiety in your case. Or so you have come to believe. Others might not link a headache to anxiety. They might just see it as a normalNormal saline flush headache and get on with the day. Instead of thinking it will bring about anxiety. Yes, we look for things to back up our thoughts. That the headache is causing the anxiety. We will find them too to make ourselves seem right. We all love our sleep. Not enough of it can make us a bit on edge at times. So now you have two options for the anxiety. Headache or lack of sleep? It is how we see the situation as such. Will every headache you ever get lead to anxiety? That is if you imagine that it is the headache that brings on the anxiety. I'm sure you get the gist of what I writing by now. I won't linger on the topic. Just a point I was making.
I find that anything that frustrates me, brings on anxiety. If I have a headache, I don't feel well, and that makes me anxious. Keep in mind that those of us with anxiety are extremely sensitive and aware of any new sensations we feel within our bodies. When I am tired, I am anxious, when I have a headache I am anxious, if I am annoyed I am anxious. I just wrote about this in another post, regarding happiness and nervousness. I think I have found that if I am aware of the times that I have anxiety or a nervous stomach, often times its not always when I am in a stressful situation. It can be when I am going somewhere fun, I will have a nervous stomach. I am so focused on my anxiety all of the time, that I am confusing being excited about something, and maybe having butterflies, with being nervous and anxious, does that make sense??
Take Care,
Kristine
