It's zinc, not zink, and too much zinc is toxic so everyone be careful not to overdo it. Zinc and copper are both essential for the proper functioning of the immune system and are in balance with each other, so the above recommendation would only apply if or some reason a person had too much copper getting into their system and insufficient zinc; in that case, adding zinc would leach out the excess copper, but if there's no excess, the balance could be disrupted. I wouldn't do this unless I got tested and found I had such an imbalance. Both are plentiful in many foods.
Take zink. Copper toxidity can cause dry eyes and fatigue. Zink balance it out. Its hard to correct the imbalance with food alone.
