help? any advice?

Hey guys, i just recently turn 18 years old, been going through anxiety for about 10 years can't seem to find any medication that has helped me im also in a very deep depression have been for three years drs have tried different kinds of treatment on me but nothing has worked. Does anyone have advice on what i can try doing, really wanna get over this already. :(

Some people need a combination of meds. Has your Dr tried that yet? Are you in counseling also?

Yea taking two different kinds of meds for anxiety and another for depression. Theyve changed my medication a couple of times and they dont seem to work just get it worse. Yes im going to counseling have been for more then two years

I hurt for you, I honestly do. Im 28 and have had your same problems since I was 10. My depression was so severe recently I was worried what I would do, so I admitted myself. Its embarrassing to admit, but those places are there for a reason and they are still in business so I know its not just me. I know it sounds drastic but after all this time it helped me find a serious dr.

Your not all e it been3 mouths for means antivan Prozac and paxiL don't work  so ik how u feel ik ur strong if ur holding up that good it been that long I'm falling more apart eveydsy. In got another d.r app thusday I'll let u know if he gives me any adive

Repo438 yea was taking paxil but I got really sick with those had so many side affects. Im taking buspar and not sure what the other one is called

Yup paxiL made it worse anything take make it's worse im like is anything gunna work it's hopeless ness  day in and day out wish I could get 3 hrs if sleep with out waking. Up evey hr  I'm here for u. That's why as soon a I found this website I made it ik I'm not alone but  lost alot of friends cuz they dont under stand

Omg. I totally understand I wake up constantly during the night it freakin blowss! & dont worry bout those ppl who dont stick with u, just shows that there not true friends just keep you head up high and dont ever think your alone. Friends think I'm crazy calling hrs Of the night even tho they r up towing. But when u say I'd dieing they think ur o. Drugs and bugging out it's so bAd I can't even drive cuz I freak out in a car or truck. Driving towing trucking was my life .
