It could mean either possibility, that your period is coming OR it could occur in pregnancy.  If you've put yourself at risk for pregnancy, then you need to test!  Sooner rather than later so that you can receive the proper medical care if you are.  The home EPT's are very accurate, just read the directions on the box as to WHEN testing will be effective.  Some will detect pregnancy earlier than others.  Good luck!

Probably would be better asked in a different forum. Brown discharge is usually old blood which can happen at the start of your period. If there is a change you may be pregnant go see your doctor.
