Before I say what happened I sould say that I have extreme anxiety problems and ocd, that is all this could be but I want to be sure. The other day I was walking outside, not paying attention really to anything around me and i opened the door, i looked down and i swear i saw a snake on the doorstep. i jumped over it, ran for about 3 seconds, slowly walked back and it wasnt there. i dont know how fast snake are but my uncle looked all over for it and couldnt find a snake inside or outside. im constantly worried that im going to get schizophrenia so it could be just my anxiety. but if the snake really wasnt there is that schizophrenea or just seeing something out of the corner of my eye and saw it wrong. I don't have any other symptoms, I sleep a lot and am detached but thats because im scared all the time, panic attacks. I don't hear things, although im always doing stuff like ill hear something, ill freak out and think im hearing something, but then my husband will say he heard it too and im not crazy. please just tell me if this sounds like sch. or not. thanks

I most often see things that aren't there...but that could be there, so much so that I was weeding an area and picked up a foot long snake and looked at it for the longest time before I realized it was real and gently put it down....I guess I'm way beyond seeing things, now I'm not believing was my eyes are actually seeing. I'm not afraid of anything except for being a weird person, so seeing any number of things that turn out not to be there is sort of interesting for me.

You'd know if you were schizophrenic.  You're not.
