high blood pressure

by Mrme, Feb 27, 2007 12:00AM
I have High BP and have been on HCTZ medicine for the past 3 years. Suddenly I am having muscle pain in my waist area and in the arms and legs. I thought it could be from the HCTZ but my Dr. said it is not. If I stop taking the medication for about 3 days, the muscle pains reduces. He then gave me Lisinopril just last week and I took it only on saturday and had pains all over my body. I have stop since and my BP is OK about 135/82 till now. I have gone to muscle specialist and they did bllod work and saw nothing and mearnt all is fine. Actually I use to have stress time and not been able copping with stress and that gives rise to the high BP. Need suggestion from you.
Thanks
