thanks for the responses,
im still trying to live my life the same i go out every weekend with my friends but i have noticed that when i drink alcohol the tingling starts to get worse is this because of the anxiety?
also when i am drinkin alcohol i start thinking about all the stuff i will be without if i do have hiv.
i have my test booked in for the 1st october, i tested negative for chlamydia and gonnorea which the doc said was a good sign.
anyone help?
What I've learned is that when you hyperventilate (exchange of oxygen and carbon dixide is out of wack) it can cause aches, tingling, cold hands and feet (fingers/toes), tightness in chest and lips, etc.
Anxiety can bring on the same symptoms. I sometimes had feelings that my throat was closing or tight (which it was, just made me freak out more than I should have). I have had intense feelings of dizziness, disorientation, etc.
Alleviate yourself and go get a thorough exam and get tested for HIV. You may be freakin out, but for good reason. Try to avoid extra stress in life, like this situation, that may bring on potential problems. Trust me, being young is fun, but learn from your mistakes. As you can see, some things just aren't worth it. BTW, alcohol use and drug abuse mess with the chemicals in your brain. If you do suffer from anxiety, these things make it worse overall. Be careful.
I wish the best to you.
Hello,
Yes anxiety can cause a whole load of strange symptoms but you MUST go to your GP and get tested. Better to be safe.
