Anxiety usually is a lifelong battle for most of us, but that doesn't mean you have to be suffering with periods of acute, debilitating anxiety your whole life. There are SOany different treatment approaches, and a lot of getting better involves what YOU do to change the anxious cycle of thinking. I takes time, some help from professionals, and hard work...but anxiety absolutely can be manageable.
Can you give us a little more info on your history, and what you've tried so far to treat the anxiety?
Because nobody knows the cause -- don't even know what part of the brain is implicated. The brain is just too complex for us right now. But many people do get better, so to say there's no cure is to say for many of us there's no cure and for many there might be, so don't quit trying.
That's a really hard question to answer. We're all individuals and deal with things differently.
Have you ever been in therapy? If so, what kind and for how long? Have you ever been on meds to help with your anxiety? Do you know what first caused your anxiety and have you ever learned coping skills?
Sorry for all of the questions. The more we know the better we can help.
