Moving can be unsettling, but we have to look at it as an opportunity to meet new people, new sights to see etc.  Before long your new place will be as familiar as where you are now.  I think everyone has dealt with having to move to a new area, but it really doesn't take long to get acquainted with people and learn your way around, it's like a new adventure!  Worrying about it is far worse than what it will actually be like.  We are all afraid of the unknown and that's what this is for you, but most often the unknown turns out to be a wonderful thing!  That's all you're really fearing, and it will be just fine.  Take some deep breaths and think of how much fun it can be to discover new places and people!  You're stepping outside of your comfort zone and although scary, this experience will make you grow and better able to handle adversities in your life.  It will give you more confidence as well.  I've moved a lot and I always looked at it as a new adventure that would bring me new friends and new experiences and it always did.  Try to relax this could turn out to be a better place than where you are now.  I hope this helps and I wish you all the very best!

I would have to agree that moving can raise the stress and anxiety levels quite a bit.  I was raised as a military brat and moved 10 times in my first 18 years of life, which at times could seem overwhelming, but I would have to agree with mammo that the new place will eventually become the comfortable place once you are settled.

Are you currently getting help for your anxiety?  Do you have access to counseling?  Sometimes just sitting down with someone and putting it out on the table can releave much of the stress and give you tools how to confront your worries.  Also, give yourself credit along the way.  Moving is stressful and it is totally normal to be anxious about it in my opinion.
