You do need to get checked out by a doctor and a cardiologist, just in case. I take klonopin and magnesium and they really help. Keep a open mind and good luck!

I am 58 years old and have had panic attacks on and off for 40 years.  They are on again.  Even went to the ER Tuesday because I couldn't 'catch' my breath and I feel like I am not getting enough air.  Hopefully, it will pass.  Do you take any meds?  And nighttime is the worst in bed.  Have more time to think about my breathing.
