jumping out of my sleep

iv been having panic attacks for over a year now but every time i try to beat it, it comes back stronger whatever i do it never seems to go away i feel like im goin to have a nervous breakdown.  3 weeks ago i was about to drift off to sleep but kept jumping out of it like i cant catch my breath. iv spoke to my doc and he said its panic in my sleep but it happens all the time even if im just goin for a snooze or tryin to have a early night, i havnt slept proper since this started to happen no matter what time of the day or night i try sleep it keeps happening im at my wites end as my doc wont do anything to help with this! is any1 else havin this problem. im thinking bout changing my doc as i feel he has done nothin to help me.

I have that problem sometimes. Get another doctors opinion. Maybe you could learn some relaxation exercises? Reading a magazine before sleeping helps me so I have something to think about.

Ive had this for a while when I was younger,it does sound like panic to me and it might have gotten worse because you fear it now so tense up when wanting to sleep.Maybe you need some counselling and or meds Lily

iv been to the doc's a few times about it he said i need to speak to someone and i never heard no more that was 3 weeks ago now, he didnt even check me out, not my blood pressure, chest nothin, he just asumed which didnt help how i feel he just said wait for an appointment. im trying to get a second opion but they charge lyke 60euro and no doc will see me if im not there patient and i feel realy shity atm and a doc wont see me without cash.
