klonopin and prilosec

I've been having extreme heartburn indegestion lately. I was going to take a months treatment of prilosec, but I was reading on that it might have a interaction with benzos. The doctor gave me a script for it, but after reading that I'm a little concerned about mixig the drugs. Does anybody take the two together and if so have you had any ill side effects?

Hi Aaron.  I take klonopin and nexium together and have no problems.  Nexium and prilosec are both proton pump inhibitors and I believe work the same way.  But to be safe make sure your Dr. knows you take both.

i take prilosec every day cant do with out it , and now and than i take ativan for stress not often , can i not take the two together ? thanks

Klonopin will leave your teeth *sparkling* white and your breath *minty* fresh.  But it is EQUAL in potency to Xanax.  (My bad)
