klonopin maximum dosage

I have been taking 1mg of clonozepam 3 times a day(prozac 20 mg x 3 times). But still in the morning times, I feel more anxious and nervous. Can I increase the dosage of clonozepam? what is the maximum dosage can be taken for a day for anxiety.

The maximum allowed dosage is 20MG although I read one study somewhere that mentioned the maximum effective dosage for panic was 1.5MG and then after that it completely lost effectiveness. Also keep in mind this drug builds tolerance, so you may be going through withdrawal in the morning because it is the furthest time between dosages. This happens allot.

I would advise against increasing even though your boy wants it. Every milligram up is a nightmare milligram you will have to withdraw from eventually.
