Guess a simple answer would be to say it would stop working. It would be doing nothing for you. But you can't just stop taken it. It is another benzoBenzo-o-stetic. Means working your way slowly off of it. Your doctor might have a replacement medication.
As MrGreen said, it can lose its 'potency' over time. Just like any benzoBenzo-o-stetic, your body can build up a tolerance to it, but medicagtions like KlonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer are used in the long term because of its long half life. If you see that it is not becoming as effectiveEffective strength cough syrup then I would go back to your doctor and discuss what you are experiencing. How long have you been on it? Keep us posted!
