I started having a pantic attack about 2 months ago scared me ******** i didnt know what was happening with me it freaked me out i thought i was dieing i thought i had a medical problem there was so much stuff going threw my head..I went to the Doc she prescribe me with zoloft i havent took it yet..Yesterday i had my bf to take me to the ER i was just so sick of feeling like this and not knowing what it really was well they told me i was having a pantic attack because they ran a EKG and a xray on me well it was all fine they gave me a pill called activan and wow so far i havent had another attack...

Take the meds your doctor gave you and ask for a referral to a therapist! Since your panic attacks began just two months ago, there IS a reason they began and it's recent enough you should be able to pinpoint fairly easily what triggered them. Figure out WHY and then deal with it! Sure as hell beats living with anxiety and meds for years. Time to get pro-active in your own mental health............unless you enjoy feeling like this.
