lexapro users.....

ive tooken it two times........
and both befor bed ....
and when i wake up i feel dizzy and kinda feel like im going to vomit.
and im still getting the short of breath.........

is this normal to have side effects that make you feel sick?
plus im on my menstrual-cycle right now.

but dose this happen to everyone when the first start taking it?

Mammo gives you great advice. I've been on Lexapro for 4 weeks now and at first it made me very tired so I took it at night, still do. I also felt dizzy and nauseous the first week or so but that's almost completely gone. My breathing has gotten much better which is great! Try to hang in there and give this med a chance. Like Mammo said, call your Dr just to be safe and ask about the side effects your having. Take care. Remar

People can have some difficulties while their bodies are adjusting to the medication, but call your prescribing doctor and let him know how you are feeling with this.  Always work closely with him on your meds.  Some of this is your anxiety, as the Lexapro hasn't had enough time to reach a therapeutic level in your system to help with this.  Keep us posted.
