thanks 4 ur post, yeah the meds dat the doc prescribed are beta blockers what do they actually do 4 ur anxiety? What meds are you on? I am really fed up wiv this anxiety i just feel like ive got no energy and tired all the time! I want 2 enjoy my life how i used 2!
beta blockers block the beta adrenegic sites on your heart, as well as some other places. But when you are anxious you release adrenaline, the adrenaline binds to the beta receptors on your heart and in turn causes an increase in your pulseNeck pulse Pulse Pulse - bounding Pulse - weak or absent Radial pulse Takayasu arteritis Taking your carotid pulse rate. The beta blockers kinda just send an overall feeling of mellow. It's weak sauce compared to actual anxiety meds, but it works just the same. I also had the lightheadness non stop when my anxiety was at it's worst. Now I only get it if I go into a really large brightBright beginnings store, like Walmart or the grocery store or something. Honestly, try to ignore it. Trust me, I know that sounds next to impossible. But the more you focus and dwell on it the worse it gets. Mine use to be so bad I wouldn't drive or do much of anything. Just ignore it, tell yourself it's not there. It will pass.
I am lightheaded/dizzy 24/7 the past week or so and off and on for the past year. I won't drive now. Any help would be appreciated, I am losing my life. I still feel this is something other than anxiety.
Best wishes!
