Hi Travis, well about 6-8 months ago I started suffering from the despersonalization and many other symptoms of anxiety as well!! It took me a few months and SO many test to convince myself it was just anxiety but once I did I went on Xanax which helped alot to take away my panic attacks or really stressful times or to let me go to sleep. But then I began to understand just how much I did not want to be on benzo's long term that I wanted them more for emergencys etc.. So I am now weaning off those.. However a few months ago I began taking Buspar and I have had very possitive results with that.. Please note it is a medicine that can take two months to take effect completly, so it is like the exact opposite of drugs like Xanax with offers immediate results.. In fact I almost quit it because at times I swore it made my symptoms worse!!! But now I am glad I stuck it out as I have been improving alot lately.. But somethings that I have found very helpful are the basics, eating better getting lots of power foods to my diet along with extra fruits and veggies, and whole grains etc... Working out or atleast jogging everyday or as often as you can!!! Trying to find the roots of my stress and triggers and battling  Those directly or as much as I can!!! I bougt a great book called "the anxiety work book" which has been super helpful on allowing me to find out alot about anxiety and myself etc.. I totally recommend that.. so much to where I am actually contemplating going off meds completly at some point and fighting this naturally :-) and just keeping the Xanax as needed!! I hope this helped.. But I agree with you this is totally beatable and relaxing and fighting through it will help sooooooo much... Don't give up and just remember it's scary but it cannot hurt you :-)

I am with you on this one. You basically feel like your just waking up in the morning and things dont look quite right?? Its hard to explain but I have been going through this for months too its terrible. I will let you know if I can figure something out but I havent been able to, the medication in my experience has seemed to bring this out in me.
