losing it.

I have no idea what's going on. I'm staying at my moms and I thought it would help me feel better but it hasn't. I've actually been feeling worse. I constantly feel sick to my stomach and everytime I eat I get horrible horrible anxiety because I feel like its going to make it worse. Last night I was so anxious that after I ate I got horrible cramps and diarrhea. I took a xanax and the cramps subsided a bit and I was able to fall asleep with no problem.

So today I ate some oatmeal and immediately started getting shakey and sweating profusely. I had to take another xanax just to calm myself down. I don't want to take xanax every day or everytime I eat. I've been seeing a therapist for a few weeks but haven't seen any improvement. I wake up in the morning and cry because I don't want to face another day. I fear I have major stomach issues yet I rarely eat which could be why my stomach is always so crampy and nauseated. I know that the logical reason for my stomach problems is because I rarely eat and when I do its either oatmeal, soup, or saltines...no real substantial food but I can't get over this horrible fear of having a horrible stomach condition.

I'm losing my mind and I get sad that I actually wake up in the morning. Sometimes I just wish I would die and make this all go away. I can't take this.

Oh and I really didn't like antidepressants. They made me incredibly nauseous which freaked me out even more. I deal with nausea regularly and I prefer not to have a med do it to me. it also made my anxiety 10 times worse. So no antidepressants for me.

No. Its not xanax withdrawal. I went through that in september. I didn't take xanax for 10 days then started taking .25mg sparingly and only when needed. Yesterday and today were the first time I took them for 2 consecutive days since sept so I doubt its xanax withdrawal.

Anxiety causes me to have stomach issues bad. I had diarrhea for almost 3 months due to anxiety. And even when my anxiety left I still had it. My Dr. told me to just eat starchy foods like potatoes etc. and that made them more solid.

Anxiety messes with the GI tract a lot. I get lots of acid reflux too, too much acid being produced in the stomach, causing me to have tummy aches a lot. And yeah, if you are not eating a lot, your tummy might not be liking it too well b/c its not used to eating so much? try eating small small portions throughout the day. drink protien drinks. you can by the ensure brand at walmart. the are to "gain and maintain weight" ones. Not the lose weight ones! lol.

Hang in there. Do you take an antidepressant? Or just xanax? You should try switching to something else. You coule be having xanax withdrawal? Or no? Hang in there.
