I'll keep my eye out for your new thread, thanks!
I had a still born baby in May, I thought I'd been super strong and dealt with it all as well as I could, I threw myself into full time work and tried to get on with my life with my kids and fiancé . About 2 months ago I had a dizzy spell out if the blue when cooking dinner, I panicked and rang my mum to come calm me down. Nothing happened since but then about 2 weeks ago I've started feeling odd, lightheaded, clumsy, off balance, I panick that I'm going to start panicking which in turn starts me panicking, it's all horrible I've recently had a cold so to add to all that my hearing is poor and I've losty sense of smell! I just constantly feel like I've had an undiagnosed stroke or heamorraghe or I've got ms and no one is listening or concerned, terrified I'm dying! I feel like I have a lack of oxygen going to my brain, my heart races then slows down so much it scares me. Does this sound like anxiety to anyone or am I really I'll? Someone must be able to help me :-(
i did that once, deep belly breaths and focus on something, anything, like your fingers, feel the aliveness in you, thinking it can't make it so. Stay off the internet!!! At least as far as plugging in symptoms, coming here was a good choice. These people can be so helpful, good luck!
You may have had a panic attack in your sleep. I have had that happen to me before and it is really scary. I woke up feeling like I couldn't catch my breath, I was dizzy and my heart was racing a mile a minute. Once I was able to calm myself down things went back to normal.
Are you currently seeing a psychatrist? If not you might want to consider seeing one because your anxiety needs to be dealt with. Once you get to the bottom of what is making you anxious you can begin to deal with it. You can overcome anxiety it just takes alot of hardwork and determination.
You are not alone and you can beat this. Feel better soon.....
I think its just anxiety, might be.If you have a reduce of supply of oxygen to your brain, you will feel very dizzy as in a lighheaded sensation which your about to pass out. Also most of this resolve once you lie down and sit.
We've all been there, and it can be scary. Big hugs, and take care of YOU!

If you weren't getting enough oxygen you could in no way, have typed what you just did.
You're fine, and try to relax, the more you freak out the worse it gets. The medications aren't damaging your brain. I think something about how you woke up scared you and threw you into a panic attack. You're very lucid, your mind is fine. Take some deep breaths, and talk yourself down. It's your anxiety making you feel this way, and it feeds off of our fears, the more you can relax and not worry about this, the less chance your anxiety has to survive. Discuss all of this when you see your doctor, because it appears your anxiety isn't under control. Continue on all your medications, they aren't hurting you and I'm sure they're helping to some extent. Do something to take your mind off of this, you are fine, just scared.
