i think i have some form on anxiety .... any help wuld be great!! im 18 and have been smoking weed for a good 2 years str8 HARD lets say 4 seshions a day!! smoking pot all started well but has turned worst as time came, i used to be the COOL kid or so they say heaps of friends, could talk to anyone and hold a good conversation now i cant find words to say at all and jst sit there till someone talks to me .. i get totally paranoid to the point i think the whole rooms talking about me even at work i think my boss it watching me or thinking to fire me,  i worry and stress and think way to much , i still get invited out heaps but never seem to get there or rather just stay at home by myself , iv lost all my flow with girls and when im in the room i seem to make everyone freak or thts what i think :S iv went a week without weed but last night hit the bong with some  mates now i wish i didnt cause it all happend again worse than ever ....... give me some advise please im lost

i'm sorry this is happening to you. my first suggestion is to ween yourself off the drugs (i've smoked weed before, not gonna lie). a friend of mine gets paranoid when she smokes, i dunno why she still smokes it if it bothers her that much :\ anyway. i'd say, quit for 90 days, and see how you feel. any kind of outlawed herb will make someone paranoid. i'm not invalidating your problem, but it does happen to a lot of people, so you're totally not alone. also, after 90 days it's not any better, maybe see a therapist. these paranoid feelings you're having may be from some unconscious fear or something.  once a problem starts interfering with your life (losing flow with girls, losing/effecting friendships), it's time to seek professional help for your own health.

Although I know nothing about weed, it is like alcohol in that it is self-medicating.  You've chosen to smoke weed as a way to function on a daily basis with your depression and/or anxiety, or it has enabled you to do this.  The first thing you need to do is seek help by seeing a psychiatrist. Your mind has been on weed for 2 years and this may be causing your paranoia and other issues.  You can turn this around and get your life back, but you need to seek help to do this.  I'm not sure just stopping the weed is enough, or if you can even do it without help.  You admit you have anxiety and it sounds like some depression as well, but there is a lot of help for you.  Take advantage of this and get back on track before life passes you by.  Take care.
