magnesium for anxiety?

by tostressed, Jul 17, 2007 09:43AM
Has anyone ever tried to take magnesium for anxiety? I have been looking on line and have been hearing different things on it. I guess it is good for the nerves. They say most people don't get the daily reccomended amount of magnesium they need. I am trying to reset my body in positive mode to get my anxiety under control, and I am unable to take ssri's, so I am trying the natural approach. I am already taking omega 3's fish oil. That helps some. I feel better, but I want to be how I was before anxiety free. I just want to experience the normal anxiety that is normal. Not this out of control anxiety that makes me think of every awful thing that I can.
