My wife started on cymbaltaCymbalta and diazepam , but did not tell the doctor about her drinking problem.
She drinks a bottle of wine 5 out of 7 days , Maybe your coments will get threw to her about how dangerous this is to mix the three
I have to agree with Mr GreenGreen tea.The combo of ADs and BenzosBenzo-o-stetic and alcohol is VERY dangerous. Many people have died using such a combination.Steer clear of the booze! Her drinking problem, apart from being dangerous, has the potential to make her depression and/or anxiety much, much worse.Best Regards,

Red, There are at least 2 problems here: One is whatever condition is being treated by the meds, and the other is the booze. You might want to take it upon yourself to let the doctor know about the wine, but I frankly doubt that your wife will stop mixing the alcohol and drugs no matter what the evidence suggests in terms of bad outcomes. I am so sorry about it.
