menopause

i have suffered with anxiety and depression for 20 years controlled wihh medicatoin i am nw experienceing menopausal symptons which also seems to have increased my anxiety is this due to the menopause?

I don't know, but mine skyrocketed the past year and I also went through menopause.

There are some who feel that menopause with the shifts in hormones can make anxiety worse.

Menopause can cause lots of problems including anxiety.  Being a woman isn't easy!

AHHH, right up my alley!!!  Isn't it fun?  Not!!  

I guess I was pretty lucky though, when I was going through my "change", that's when all h@#$, broke loose with the anxiety and all that come's with it.  So, I looked at it like I was killing 2 birds with one stone.  Many women can go through it just fine, but some have a real problem dealing with the hormones going crazy.  I suggest that you see your dr., there are some good medication's that can help you get through this tough spot.
