need an answer

My 14 year old son has been urinating in cans and bottles and storing them in his room, his dad found out and approached him and he said he had no answer but would stop, we just found some more containers, that were probably left from previous ones.
He seems well  adjusted in family and school, has friends, the only change I know of is his 2 older brothers moved away and elderly grandparents moved in, they all 3 now share a bathroom. Has anyone else had this to deal with or any suggestions as to why this would be happening?

Could be as simple as a weak bladder and dying to go more often than not. I know that doesn't explain the storing of it. We could place many guesses on that one. Lazy might be a good start. Just doesn't bother to empty after he goes. Just leaves it there and looks for something else to go in. Has he ever been checked out? Only he holds the real answers. To say it is this or that would only be guess work on everybody's part. Be it a therapist for some talking. Or a doctor for bladder test. Maybe one could rule the other out. If the bladder is fine he is doing it for other reasons that will have to be looked at. Not saying this post is of much help to you. But not a situation I have came across before. i know males can be lazy at times and just go in the nearest available object. But most wouldn't store it away. Most would empty.
