If you've measured your legs and they are the same, it's possible you've got a pair of jeans that are "off." I know the waist on MY jeans keep shrinking!
A wee bit of humor. (VERY wee)
If you do not have any pain or a feeling of heatBabies and heat rashes Heat emergencies Heat rash Infant heat rash Tenosynovitis from your affected leg, and you've already checked it for swelling, I'd say it's just a touch of anxiety on your part..........it's so easy for those of us with anxiety to get obsessed with something and blow it totally out of proportion. But remember, Lynne, we are NOT doctors here, so my opinion pretty much means squat. Since you are fearing cancer, I would suggest seeing your doctor, not because I think you have cancer, I don't, but you need to hear that from a medical professional to reassure you. He/she can also, at that time, address your concerns of sciatica. I have it, but have never noticed any swelling.........just the pain.
I also wonder if some of this could be related to hormones? But you gave birth a year ago and I'd guess your hormones would have settled down by now. It was just a thought.
See your doc and put your mind at ease so you can get back to enjoying that baby!
Let us know, OK?
Peace
