thank you so much gulfstream, when i do go out i do tend to not pay lots of attention to my thoughts but you cleared up alot as they are mental images and when i put to much attention to them all it does is make it worse...but it is good to know that it is normal soo thanks alot you helped me relax and feel better!!

Hey there,

Okay, first of all everyone has an "inner dialog". Every person does. I suppose it can be more apparent when you are stagnant, or bored with nothing to pre-occupy your time and I don't doubt this at all since I really don't have much to do myself and find that they are more obvious. But again, the events going on in your brain are normal, and they carry NO significance with them, thoughts are just thoughts, mental images are mental images. Just let it be. Do not get worked up over mere neurochemical reactions in your brain.

Don't be scared to hear voices in your head, again this is normal. Our inner dialog reflects our emotional states a lot of the time, so if we are scared or anxious, our thoughts are most likely going to automatically reflect that without us actively participating in them. Its an unconcious action.

So yes, I would say its safe to say it is your anxiety and lack of activity. Boredom, when in excess can lead to apathetic behavior and that is something that should be stopped. Get yourself involved in something, something good and that should help out. Don't stress over it, if you do it won't help you in any way.

Best regards to you, and think positive.
