not getting enough relief still after 7 month?

i have started psych medicine since oct 08, but still not getting relief.my psych is MD(Psychiatry) and used to visit most of the top hospital in mumbai(india).my friend told me to consult another psychiatrist.the new psych is very simple and not visiting top hospitals.but he has deploma(not degree) in psychiatrist.i met with the new psych.and his couselling part help me a lot.i have purchased new medicine priscribed (prescribed) by him.but i have not started taking his medicine because of fear and he has taken a note of my old medicine and he changed all medicine by saying why to take old medicine if they r not giving relief.WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW.I AM AFRAID OF SWITCHING OVER OF MEDICINE

If one med is not working, then switch, what do you have to lose? aslo, REMEMBER meds are only for temporary relief so you can WORK on what is causing your Anxiety/Panic, good luck, keep posting

You didn't say what meds you're taking and what you're thinking of taking.  Make sure whoever your psychiatrist is knows how to take you off meds and put on new ones; it can be complicated.
