now a embarrisssing rash

tapering off xanax as u know and then will taper off my klonopin..lately i feel like i have become allergic to these meds i have been on forever afeter taking then my lips go numb my neck feels like its getting thick and my cheeks feel funny..the med dr told me im not allergic to then,but yestrday i noticed i have a rash right in the top of the crack of my butt with a blister in teh middle............im scared no one will believe i could have become allergic to them and i know i canat stop tehm cold tukey any ideas

This rash you mentioned may or may not be related to your withdrawal from Xanax, although I think it is unlikely, especially if you are folling your doctors' instructions concerning weaaning yourself off of the Xanax.

Is the rash itchy or burning? If not, I would wait awhile before becoming overly concerned.  If it is itchy you might want to try a hydrocortisone cream and if that doesn't help and the rash is very bothersome, contact your healthcare provider for further advice.
