out and about

whoo hoo!! got myself out and about after a morning of feeling anxious. Went just out and about with no real purpose just to be out. surprised a friend who is opening up a business by just showing up and helping out for a couple hours. Felt soooo good, when i felt anxiety and the need to run i named what i was doing like Jon Kabat Zinn (sp?) says to do, worry worry worry, thinking thinking thinking, it really helped to describe what i was doing. Sort of made the thoughts less important, just thinking. Hope you all are celebrating any successes large or small. Even 5 minutes of no anxiety is a success to be celebrated. Good health to us all on our journey

what a perfectly georgous day in Oregon. The sunshine makes everything seem better. Been outside alot today good for the soul. Staying in the present is doing wonders for my anxiety, Doing the above helps alot. I haven't pushed too much today, finally feeling a little better from this tooth getting pulled but it was a couple rough days of pain not anxiety so much. Even on my more down days I can look back and see how far I have come. I am so blessed. Its been a loonnngggg rough road
