thank you so much i will take this into account
Pain from a heart attack is usually not sharp, that is more a musculoskeletal type pain. You are quite young, and worrying like this can make the anxiety and pain worse. I think it would be a good idea for you to talk to someone about your pain and your concern, but not a medical doctor, someone more like a counsellor. Communities often have low-cost or free counselling centers.
Any shortness of breath can also be from your anxiety about the pain. Relax....you are not going to die from this pain.
yea its scary when i breath it hurts when i unblock my ears its a shooting pain and just freakeed out my worst fear is death
If it makes you feel any better, I suffer from anxiety, and I've had unexplained muscle pains/spasms in my upper back and neck, even going up into my head. It moves around, but also certain areas stay sore constantly, especially around my shoulder blades/ribs in the back.
I've been to the Dr. several times, anxiety made it worse, he assured me it was nothing serious.
He just gave me a basic lecture of "getting older means getting aches and pains, you could even have a little arthritis etc., but its how we react to it."
I'm only 32 years old, not over weight, and active.
I've been to the chiropractor twice this week, and he's a nice guy, and just explained to me that I have "myofascial pain", and NOT arthritis.
Of course, I had to google myofascial pain, and "sydrome" came up with it, and my anxiety SPIKED like CRAZY. I thought I had a disease.
I wrote my chiropractor asking if this is what he meant I had!! He replied "Absolutely not. Myofascial pain is just a word, it means muscle pain, that's it."
I decided to start working out the past few nights, and I must say, I think it does help some, and I sit in a hot tub afterwards.
It's scary when you have pain that you can not explain, for no reason at all.
I've FINALLY just accepted that this has to be ALL anxiety related. There are no other reasons why I should have pain this long. It's been about a month. And especially when muscle pain moves a bit, and travels, it's spasm, and nothing serious.
Anxiety can do a lot of things! I believe illnesses like Fibromyalgia and stuff are anxiety/depression related as well. Because the treatment for fibro is antidepressants. The brain must lack some sort of chemical.
I do not take any medication for my anxiety. What about you? Get to feeling better!!
You're not having a heart attack and being how 4 doctors opinions can't reassure you, and your anxiety has been lasting for 4 months I think it's time for you to try therapy. Health anxiety is a serious issue and can spiral out Of control.
any other help please freaking out but would a heart attack last 4 months now
went to the doctor said i have a muscle spasm but i still get the sharp pain under my left breast and just above and said i should go to the physio as well got a bruse from one of my veins on the left hand can this be from the muscle spasm?
At 21 years of age the chances of that are highly unlikely. Also, you have been to 3 doctors! Trust your doctors, not your anxiety. It is likely a pinched nerve being that's what trained medical professionals said. Possibly built up tension from anxiety too.
Maybe you are eating something that causes you to have some kind of Heart burn or gas. These 2 will act as if you have a heart issues. However, I do not think you do, so just calm down a bit Hun and take some Deep Breaths. Look into your diet! Just try not to drive your self into a fix here. I wish you the best and I bet it is nothing that a little old diet/exercise can't change.
Bless
