Palpitation is a symptom of anxiety. I was very worried about that. My doctor put me under xanax which make me feel better. But the best thing is relaxation and meditation . Breathing in a plastic or paper bag also helps me decrease my palpitation. Be sure you will be ok. Have confidence in yourself and god.

Not to minimize your worry over the palpitations, but if that was my worst symptom, I'd be doin pretty darn good.

I'm a 30 yr old male, i to have suffered from palps for over 15 yrs, it started when i was in grade school , freaked me out, in my early twenties laying in bed one night staed to freak out, had my wife (girl friend) at that time, take me to the ER, hooked me up to machine, everything came back normal, again 4-5 yrs later while driving started to have freaking out feeling, again to the ER samething nothing wrong, was giv'en some anxiety pills, they really calm me down, but stop taking then out of fear, doc ask if i use any drugs, No never, with all of this going on i'm scared to even eat, but anyway that was some yrs ago, i have come to realize maybe it is anxiety, though i still have the palps every once in awhile and some other symptoms, also one more thing i did have blood work done back in March of 08' everything on there was normal.

so long as you have been checked by a doctor, which you have then dont worry. palpatations wont kill you there just annoying and uncomfortable sometimes. if you continue to worry go and re-visit your doctor so he can put your mind at rest

Dear, you're not the only one. In fact, only last night, I had palpatations that came from nowhere. I'm going to the doctor today about it. I know it is scary, but you must know that you will be fine. They symptoms of panic attacks can be terrifying! If it'll help you to feel better, go to the doctor and see if it'll ease your worries. It'll all be ok! I promise!

Namaste,

Anyone who has every experienced a panic attack is familiar with the heart palpitations.   It's important to understand that they will pass as will the panic attack.

Oftentimes though we spend so much time worrying about when the next panic attack may occur, that we bring it upon ourselves.

If your medications are not controlling your symptoms, contact your provider and let him/her know. It sometimes takes several attempts to find the proper medication(s) to control your symptoms.

Please let us know how you are doing and take care of yourself!!
