panic attacks after sex???

so me and my bf just had sex, i was a little nauseas before but as soon as we finished i started getting this burning flush feeling in my face, and feeling dizzy and that i was gonna vomit, short of breath and not even a min later my whole body began to shake and my jaw clenches tight. i took a 1mg of klonopin right away, im starting to calm down now but does this sound like a panic attack? to me i think something else is wrong and everyone else keeps telling me its anxiety. also when i looked in the mirror my pupils were HUDGE!! like all black, then i started panicing about that!! thinking something is wrong with my brain ..... ugh what is all this??

It does sound like a panic attack. Since you took a klonopin and it calmed you down, that's probably what was going on, a panic attack.
Try to think about why this would happen in this situation. Has it ever happened before? Had you already been feeling anxious today?   Remar

yes started feeling anxious at work around 3pm...started with sob...then went away..then i was just a lil sick to my stomach after i ate around 7:45..now everytime i lay down to sleep i start to shake.. so im sitting up on the couch half asleep! this *****.

Yes, I believe so too that this was a panic attack. the symptoms are typical and if the meds made you feel better its even more a sign of that you had lots of anxiety build up.
The huge pupils the fear of having a brain tumor were the same fears i had ....to put your mind at ease have a CAT scan.
Talk to your doc about it have a complete physical, just to ease your mind!!

Both pupils being dilated sounds more like a medication reaction or the anxiety.  Pupils being dilated from a tumor, stroke, etc. are almost always just one pupil.  You should certainly mention it to your dr. next time you go in, or if you continue to notice them being dilated, you should go in just to get a clean bill of health.  You can also call your doctors office and leave word with the nurse and see what the doctor would like to do.  They can usually calm your fears with a simple phone call.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.  Best to you!

The process of getting excited during sex is similar to what many experience when they experience anxiety, so your mind probably tied the two together this time because you were already having a bad day.  My guess is the sex was particularly powerful and got the juices flowing more than usual, though I have no idea if that's true.  The more people get into sex the more powerful it gets, and it can feel pretty disorienting if one associates it with those feelings.  Otherwise, it's just a powerful but short high.
