panic attacks

Any tips on breathing techniques, when a panic attack comes on,instead of
lorazapam,please any advice greatly appreciated!!

I would see a CBT practitioner, who should teach you hands on several good breathing exercises.  Or go see a practitioner of Eastern religions, mainly Taoism, Buddhism, or Hinduism -- all incorporate breathing exercises that are centuries old and which is where our CBT practitioners learn them.

Breath in through you nose slowly for a few seconds hold it a few seconds then breath out through your mouth slowly and repeat..

And dean yea i get those too its common unfortunately :(

Do you get numb and tingly in your hands face lips also during a panic attack?
