panic disorder agoriphobia

i have had panic disorder for almost 7 years. it started right after i graduated high school. they werent that bad in the begingin. i was able to drive and hold a job by myself for about 4 years. now i havent driven by myself in over 2 years and i have to work with a family member in order to even feel comfortable enough to have a job. i have panic attacks all the time. im currentyl taking paxil and seein a phsycologist and phsyciotrist. nothing has been able to help me and the panic attacks arent getting any better. i have treid everything. i dont even like to be alone and am depending on someone else for everytihng. can anyone out there help or tell me stories of overcomming this.

I have had panic disorder and argraphobia for 16yrs and believe me you can live with it, its not easy but you can do it. I take random panic attacks and i hate that if i am away from home i can understand why i am panicking and i deal with it when i panic at home its worse because i feel i can't escape from it. My therapist told me that i can only panic for so long and this is true eventually the panic will pass and i will feel slightly better, its more a case of feel the fear and face it until it passes. I try not to depend on anyone as that doesn't work for me i don't take medication either. Have you had cbt therapy its great for panic disorder and argraphobia. I had hoped that as i would get older i would get better but it doesn't work like that. CBT teaches you how to change your way of thinking about the panic like what am i actually afraid of, anyway i tell myself the panic is within me so where am i trying to escape too.
I know panic is very scary but try to remember its only panic and it won't do you any harm and it will pass. If you can do something small to start with and build yourself up that can really help if you build your confidence in yourself, i know this sounds easier said than done though. I wish you all the best.
